How do I stop syncing a local folder?

I want to keep using the folder locally and not have it syncing any more with remote storage.

Is this a folder in the default odrive path, or a “sync to odrive” folder?

For a folder in the default odrive path, you would need to move the data to another location, outside of the default odrive folder or rename the folder to a name that odrive will ignore (for example, add a ~ character to the beginning of the folder name). If you move the data out of the odrive folder, odrive will pick this up as a delete, so make sure you restore that folder from the odrive trash to turn it back into a placeholder if you want to keep that data on the remote storage.

For a “sync to odrive” folder, you can right-click on the folder and select “remove sync”.
