Force All Files to sync locally

Hi i have backed up a drive using Odrive sync however it seems many of the files on the drive are now .cloud files and I have to resync them down. How can I force everything to be full synced files locally and back up to Odrive so I always have the files local? thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi @michaelbenford,
You can set a “sync rule” on a folder, as an advanced option. This will tell odrive to always have everything downloaded in the folder, unless you specifically unsync items.

THank you I appreciate the response. I suspect something larger may be going on as I am not getting any of the ODrive options when i right-click the synced folders. Any suggestions as to why I may not be seeing any of the Odrive options? The folder I have syncd is on an external drive. Ive had everything syncd perfectly on this drive for years but I had to do a fresh OSX install and this is when the unsynd files and folders started popping up.


