File size/date for unsynced files

Is there any way to retrieve the size of an unsynced file without syncing? I have a process that de-duplicates and organized files based on name+size and date. I’d like to be able to move the .cloud files around to organize them without needed to sync them (they are 100s of GB in aggregate).

There isn’t currently a way to see this, but it is something we would like to offer, and may be able to in the not-too-distant-future. There is a feature request for it here, too, if you would like to add your thoughts:

Determining file size(s) before syncing

Just wanted to start a discussion on how this might be done now or made easier in the future. At the moment you can’t see how big a file will be before syncing, which in some cases can be a bit of a pain. Also, I understand that some services don’t support this at the moment, so odrive would never know the size from those services. Perhaps odrive, if it knows the file size, could instead create a placeholder with the size in the name? e.g. massivebackup.zip.10gb.cloud
