Amazon Drive issues 2017-06-08

It looks like Amazon Drive is having issues again. Even their own web client is very sluggish and unresponsive, so it appears to be a global issue.

I am investigating.

One possibility, off the top of my head, is that there is a mass exodus today after the announcement and everyone is busy pulling data out.

Upload restarts all the time

It has been confirmed that Amazon is getting slammed with users trying to migrate off their system, causing system-wide disruption. Let’s hope things settle down soon.

I am noticing much better behavior at the moment. It could just be a lull as all the folks on this side of the world head to bed, so we’ll have to see how things look in the morning.
