I was looking at Sysinternals’ process monitor for something else and noticed that odrive and odriveapp are connecting to activate.adobe.com every two seconds, and I’m wondering why that is? Thanks.

It is showing connections from activate.adobe.com to activate.adobe.com. Those two processes communicate with each other via localhost (loopback). My guess is that you have activate.adobe.com hostfiled to 127.0.0.1.
What does pinging activate.adobe.com resolve to?
D’oh! You’re right. There are hundreds of URLs in the host file, actually. From a program I had eons ago; the such-and-such defender. Hadn’t thought of that, so, thanks for reminding me.
