What are the plans for a macOS app written for Apple Silicon

I know that the current sync client runs via Rosetta. According to Apple, macOS 27 will be the last to support Intel apps (Intel Macs are no longer supported)":

We’re currently getting periodic notifications to remind us that Intel apps won’t be supported for much longer.

So…what’s the current roadmap for continued macOS support?
