WebDAV without authentication

Yes, I know public accessible WebDAV with no credentials is Bad™ … but there’s a number of them that already exist (readonly). I would like to map to them and make them available to all my desktops in a common location.

The best example of this is http://live.sysinternals.com/ - when attempting to add this as storage, it requires a username and password. Is there a workaround to allow linking unauthenticated WebDAV through the web interface?

Hi @yukihyou,
There isn’t a way, currently. The integration expects either basic or digest authentication on the server.

I have converted this to a feature request and have notified the product team of the request.
