If there is already data in the Encryptor folder then odrive will notify you that the password is incorrect, so you shouldn’t get into a situation where you have an incorrect password. You will see a message like this:
If you somehow do end up in a situation where you need to clear the stored passphrase, you can clear these entries on the local system:
Windows registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\odrive-encryption-[unique uuid] where [unique-uuid] is a different ID for each encryptor folder that has been setup.
Mac keychain:
Under odrive-encryption-[unique uuid]
