Unable to sync GDrive files: every file I'm trying to sync locally gets deleted and moved to bin

I have been using ODrive for about 2 years. No issues until now.

Until a couple of days this has been working fine. When trying to get a file locally (Windows 10) by double clicking on it in the ODrive folder I get the error

“Unable to sync.
Error updating the file. Error accessing file”

Moreover, the file gets moved to ODrive’s bin. I have rebooted the computer, logged out of ODrive etc. No luck.

It seems like it could be a permissions issue or an access issue for the local file. Can you trigger the error again and then send a diagnostic from the odrive menu?

Hi Tony,

I am local administrator of that machine so I don’t think it was permission. What I did meanwhile was to uninstall and re-install the software and that made the problem go away, at least for now. If I get it again I will send the logs; they are probably empty now.
