Hi, i’m on Mac 10.11.6 and a use Amazon cloud drive.
I uploaded a folder with many files on Amazon.
odrive was set to automatically unsync the files “after 1 day” and to "auto empty trash"
he did it last night. I had the message about resuming space on my hard drive
now on my mac int that folder, all the files are unsynced with .cloud at the end, but i’m unable to recover them.
i’ve the message : Unable to sync.
In the trail the folder is marked as [invalid]
the right click on the folder give me just one choice "Sync to odrive"
on amazon, the datas are missing
Hi @chrisdufour,
Can you send a diagnostic from the odrive tray menu and give me an example file name?
Can you also take a screenshot of a folder that is now placeholders and post here. I just want to make sure I understand the issue fully.
Hi,
Can you try sending one more diagnostic? It doesn’t look like the previous one went through.
Since the folder is showing as invalid, that could indicate that the remote folder that it was pointing to was renamed or deleted, and it cannot find it any more.
You mentioned that you cannot find this folder on Amazon Drive anymore. Is that correct? Is it possible it was moved, renamed, or deleted?
You can click on the checked-box icon at the top next to “FileName” to select everything in the view.
Unfortunately I still didn’t receive a diagnostic, so I’m not able to look from that perspective.
When a “sync to odrive” folder is listed as invalid it generally indicates that the folder it was pointing to on the remote storage was deleted or changed in some way so that odrive can no longer find it. Are you still seeing that?
