Syncing NAS Drive with multiple computers

Hello All,

I was looking through the forum here and couldn’t find a similar question.

We have a NAS drive that we are syncing (currently in the initial sync phase). This drive has around 5TB of data and its taking forever with only one computer syncing all of the files.

Would it be a viable option to have 2 computers running the initial sync, or would that create conflicts?

Hi @joel,
You could run into conflicts if two systems are trying to sync they same exact files. Can you split up the dataset in some way so that the multiple systems are accessing different subsets?
