I have created a storage using amazon drive, i have successfully shared this with a mac user and all of the files appear as normal within their odrive folder, i have then added another member who uses windows to use the storage, the files are appearing in his web browser space but are not appearing in his desktop file…
can someone help me with this?
Are the file names having illegal chars which are not permitted in Windows?
The most common issue for files/folders not showing up in odrive desktop is that they contain a character that cannot be used on the local file system. For the files/folders that are missing, can you tell me what the names are (few files)?

The very first character on the main folder is an * asterisk so I’m guessing that more than likely the problem. Thanks for the help I will check back if it is still problematic
Yes, removing the * char should allow sync engine to pick up mentioned files / folders in Windows
