Hi Can someone explain to me (simply) what the shared with me folder is for ? Also why is there no such folder showing in Dropbox directory. Sorry in advance. Cheers.

Are you seeing “Shared With Me” in Google Drive and OneDrive?
These are representations of the “Shared With Me” folders in those accounts. Dropbox places the Shared folders into the same area as other folders, so it doesn’t have the separate “Shared With Me” folder.
