Remove Account?

During the AWS auth problem earlier this week, I had to get access to forums where I created a user with my google credentials so that I could post. I actually realize that I wish I hadn’t done that because I wanted to move THIS account to be authenticated using google and now that I have this second account I no longer can, unless I can remove that account in a manner that free’s up that “namespace” which is presently occupied. If I close that other account, will that allow me to change the authentication from AWS to Google for this account? If so, is there a period of time that I’d need to wait for the account deletion to take effect so that I can be able to make the change?

Yes you can close the account you no longer need and then switch your authentication. You should be able to make the change immediately after closing the account.
