PC replacement with C drive and network drive sync

Hello!

My work PC will be replaced in the next few days by our IT department. I have Odrive installed on my PC and it is syncing some folders to my C drive, and some folders to a network drive.

I’m not sure what to expect or if I need to do anything in preparation. Do I need to do anything prior to the computer replacement? When I install Odrive to the new PC, is it OK to point it to the same network folders that were previously synced?

Yes, you do not need to do anything special. You can install the odrive client, login with your odrive user, and then setup any “sync to odrive” folders that you need. If the existing “sync to odrive” folders are pointing to network locations, just make sure you set those up on the new computer exactly the same.
