Bulk downloading can definitely take a lot of time and attention, depending on how much data you need to download and which service you are downloading from.
If you have been downloading heavily, it may be that Amazon is throttling you. They impose fairly strict limits for Amazon Drive activity. It also seems like Amazon Drive has had a lot more activity, recently, with everyone trying to download their data, so things are slower and more error-prone than usual, and it already wasn’t the fastest/most robust around.
The odrive sync activity log will show what errors you are running into (see screenshots for where to find that).
If odrive hits too many errors or rate limits when downloading it will be forced to abort the process.
