oDrive and VPN Private Internet Access

I use oDrive on a Mac computer.
I have attempted to use the VPN from Private Internet Access.
When the VPN est active the oDrive Sync is extremely slow.
I need to disable the VPN in order to properly use oDrive.
What can I do ?

  • settings?
  • use another VPN?
  • other solutions?

Hi @denis.jobin,
For best performance you will generally not want to connect through a VPN. When you use a VPN, you are connecting through an intermediary, so your performance is going to be limited to the performance you get through that service.

Keep in mind that odrive already uses encrypted transport, via HTTPS, for all of its communication.
