iTunes files saying they're not found

With my iTunes library and media files in Odrive (Amazon Cloud Drive), iTunes is not finding the files.

If I click in Finder to download something, it’ll download. However, does “downloading” through apps like iTunes tell Odrive to download it? I think not due to iTunes telling me it can’t find the file, but I’m looking for guidance on this topic even if I didn’t phrase my question perfectly.

iTunes doesn’t understand .cloud files, so it doesn’t know how to request that they are opened/synced. If you are syncing a library like iTunes that you are actively using on the machine, you will need to make sure the files are all cached locally.
