How to know when a new client release is available?

Hi: I’ve asked about this before, but it still seems to be a challenge. There’s no good way that I can find to know when a new desktop client is available. This forum no longer seems to be routinely updated with releases (and release notes!); and it took me multiple attempts with the “Assistant” to get a response about what the latest client version was and whether an update was available.

A simple flag in the client itself to indicate that an updated version is available would be hugely helpful.

Sorry for the recent gap in release posts. We will keep the Releases section of this forum updated when new official versions are released.

The desktop client also checks for automatic updates, although not every release is distributed that way. You can see your installed build in the odrive tray menu. The latest versions are always available here:
