How to after upload a folder change it to .cloud file?

Hi All! I want to know how to change the uploaded file to .cloud extension?

As you can see in the image, I have both type of file.
1 the real files, they are already backuped.
2 .cloud files that they are in the cloud and if i want to open it, they have to be download first.

which are the step? the main idea is to free space in my hard drive, with out losing my backup.
