How do I determine which version of odrive desktop I am using?

How do I get new updates?

Odrive Desktop not working with pCloud

HI,
Newest versions of the odrive desktop client are always available here:

We post the release notes for all releases here:
https://forum.odrive.com/c/release-notes

We push auto-updates to the software a day or two after our releases, as well. These will update your client silently, most of the time. Otherwise you will be prompted to update, once an update is found.

The current version you are running is displayed in the odrive tray menu at the bottom (Example: “prod 1234”).

My version of odrive desktop is 6442. I see that there is a newer version: Win v.6452.
If I do nothing, will my desktop version be auto-updated?

“We push auto-updates to the software a day or two after our releases, as well. These will update your client silently, most of the time.”
–> I think the ‘day or two’ has passed by now

“Otherwise you will be prompted to update, once an update is found.”
-but I did not get a prompt to update.

Hi @karinvdbosch,
The latest version has been held up from pushing an auto-update, but I expect it to go out sometime this week.

How does auto updating work under Linux?

Hi @bmff.engagement,
There isn’t an auto-update feature for the odrive agents and CLI, so those need to be updated manually.
