How do I keep a file on the cloud but remove from my local storage?

Hi there,

I have the Premium version and I use it with an Amazon S3 bucket.

I have 2 questions about deleting things:

1. Is there a way I can delete all files from my local computer but still keep all files intact on the actual bucket? This is to save space on my local Macbook, which doesn’t have much memory.

2. When I empty the trash and sync all deletes, I cannot tell if it’s actually deleting a folder or not. Is there a way to see progress, and that it is actually deleting things?

I think “unsync” is what you are looking for to accomplish this. It will free up the space on your local system, but keep the files on S3. Manage Disk Space

Emptying the trash doesn’t have a progress indicator, but it is deleting the items on your remote storage. If you want to keep items on your remote storage, you will not want to delete them locally and then empty the odrive trash.

Not knowing the progress on the delete is a bit of a problem for me, but no worries
