I’m sure you have looked into adding support for Google’s Nearline storage but since it isn’t currently an option in odrive, what is the current status of support for Nearline?

We actually do already support it. We can connect to any Google Cloud Storage bucket, and Nearline is simply a storage class designation within Google Cloud Storage (along with Standard and Durable Reduced Availability).
First, go to https://console.cloud.google.com and select Cloud Storage. Then create a bucket. Make sure you select the Storage Class dropdown and choose Nearline.
Once your bucket is set up, then go to https://www.odrive.com/links/googlecloudstorage to link your bucket.
You’ll notice that accessing files takes a few seconds longer, but it’s otherwise pretty transparent.
