Google drive folders are syncing but not the files in those folders

I have a few folders on my google drive where the contents are not appearing in the local odrive folder. When I use the odrive web interface I see the files and obviously they are there when I use my google drive. The corresponding odrive folders are just empty even after right clicking on them and doing a sync or refresh.

This problem is isolated to 5 or 6 folders only. Other folders are just fine. They only contain google doc spreadsheets. Renaming the folders works fine.

Any ideas?

I found my problem. All the files in those folders had a / in the filename. Renamed them and all is well.

Thanks for the update!

This is a common issue on Google Drive because it allows many characters that are not allowed on local filesystem.
