Copying files from the odrive to my computer locally

I do not understand why when I chose and copied files, it didn’t seem to really copy them.

I copied files by visiting the odrive folder on my own computer, going to the correct files and right clicking to choose copy.

Then, I was able to paste them into a normal folder on my desktop. (However, these pasted files are not the actual file or even file type, so I cannot open them. I would like to know how to change this

You cannot copy placeholder files (.cloud and .cloudf). If you want to copy data between cloud services you will want to sync the files down to your local system first, then perform the copy.
