Can't sync .htaccess files via webdav " You do not have permission."

Hi,

I can’t sync a bunch of .htaccess files. All other files of the installation work, but for the .htaccess files I get a “You do not have permission.” error when I try to upload them to my owncloud instance via webdav.
Any ideas what to do about this?

Hi @coach1,
It looks like OwnCloud blocks these files, by default. https://github.com/owncloud/core/issues/6188

Since .htaccess files can be dynamically read and applied by an Apache server it makes sense why they would block these files from being uploaded, since I believe Apache web server is a requirement for running OwnCloud
