Changed my HD into an SSD one, reinstalled Windows 8.1 pro and everything from scratch. When trying to install Desktop Sync, get the message that “One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and then try setup. For more information see log file. 0x800713ec Ásia” I have no idea which issues prevent the programn to run. Any help welcome. This is commonly seen on Windows 7 if SP1 is not installed (7601 vs 7600). Some users have also encountered this with Windows 8.
