when searching for files, i find some files with a .cloud extension, but not the corresponding file. what going on here?

.cloud files represent files in the cloud that have not been downloaded locally yet. If you want that file locally you can sync it down by double-clicking on it or with a right-click->sync. This applies to folders, as well (.cloudf). For more information, take a look at our usage guide here:
