Is there any way to prevent files deleted on the cloud provider from being deleted locally and vice-a-versa?

Hi @eygraber,
This will be the behavior of our upcoming backup feature. Normal sync will always try to maintain parity between the two sides, including deletes. The client does prevent local deletes from being sent to the cloud unless the odrive trash is emptied, to prevent any unintended deletes (like mistakenly dragging the file or folder out of the odrive folder).
