Bandwidth Limiting needs improvement

Hi all,

I just started the 7 day free trial for odrive premium. I recently moved into a house with extremely slow internet. I only have 1Mbps upload. I’ve set my upload limiting to “limited” but odrive still uses 0.7-1.0Mbps which makes my internet connection unusable while uploading/syncing.

Is it possible to tell odrive to limit upload to 0.1Mbps or somehow manually tell it exactly how much bandwidth it is limited to?

Hi @carlco,
There isn’t a way to reduce the bandwidth more than what the available options allow. This is something that will be improved in future versions of odrive, however.

If you find that the odrive settings aren’t cutting it for your environment, you could try to add/adjust some QoS settings on your router to regulate the traffic.
