It appears that when uploading to Backblaze B2, all files are set to the default application/octet-stream
, which breaks things like inline-images. As per https://www.backblaze.com/b2/docs/b2_upload_file.html , if you set to the Content-Type
to b2/x-auto
, B2 will automatically set the stored Content-Type
post upload based on the file extension.
This was reported to me by a reader of my blog post, at https://jross.me/free-personal-image-hosting-with-backblaze-b2-and-cloudflare-workers/#comment-4610961229 .

Hi @cherry ,
I’ll investigate and see if this can be changed to allow B2 to auto-set the content type.

Thanks @Tony . Let me know if you need any further information, or if I can provide any assistance - I’m very familiar with the B2 API.
