I am in IT since ever, let’s say since 90ies. Observing how it changes from DOS up to the latest OSes is incredible. Similarly to storage - my first laptop had NO HDD - only 2 floppy drives, each 720kB.
Today we are at TB and cloud.
Today’s smartphone is more powerful than my fist computer.

What is next? Let’s see…
Odrive is just the missing bit between HDD, clouds providers and organization of the information stored. Perfect idea. Just the odrive is not yet perfect. But let us hope it will be day by day closer to it.
