Questions on Syncing

I want the syncs to be one way. how do I configure that?

So if I make a change in Windows I want that to show up on Amazon. But if I delete something on Amazon I don’t want that to delete on Windows.

Today it seems like it does? But I’ve only just installed it a couple days ago so testing may be incomplete.

Hi @mattw112,
It sounds like you are looking for a traditional backup solution instead of a sync solution. odrive is a bidirectional, full sync solution, so there isn’t a way to prevent remote changes from syncing to the local system. odrive will always want to sync additions, edits, and deletes in both directions.

ok, good thing I’m in trial period, can you recommend another solution that allows me to back up to Amazon drive with out a sync back?

Unfortunately I don’t have any personal recommendations, since I haven’t used any other software for Amazon Drive in few years. I know that some folks have used Arq in the past with good results.
