I have a Box account and want to sync with a folder on my desktop computer. However, I want to do it only on demand, and, only sync the changed files. In addition, I don’t want to leave any breadcrumbs on the box account. Is there any way to do this?
Hi @mbrin,
By default odrive will always try to upload local files, if they are new or have changed. You could turn off automatic sync in the odrive menu to stop any automatic syncing, and then turn it on again when you are ready to sync your changes.
odrive will show placeholder files for any new files that show up on the Box side, which you can then sync down to your system, on-demand.
I am not quite clear on your use case, so I don’t know if these features will satisfy it, however.
Can you clarify what you mean here?
