Mac OSX Odrive creates conflicting duplicate files

So here is the thing: whenever I work with software which autosaves (or I manually save constantly) such as MS Word, Excel odrive creates copies of the same file named as (conflict) in the brackets next to the name.

Please fix because I have multiple copies of some files which gets so confusing.

Do you also have a highly reproducible scenario (set of steps) that I can take to try to reproduce what you are seeing?

I’m having exactly the same issue. More and more files are saving with (conflicts) these are not necessarily ones that have been used and open. If you need any further information to help with identifying the fault with this, then please let me know and I will provide it.

Thinks for the report. Can you answer these questions for me?

  1. Are you running the latest version of odrive? You can grab it at https://www.odrive.com/download
  2. What source are you linked to where you are seeing these conflicts?
  3. Is there a recent example (from today) where you saw an unexplained conflict? If so, can you provide me with the file names and send a diagnostic (located in the odrive tray menu).
