Can you tell me how ODrive manages this situation whereby a large file is being sync’ed, but for whatever reason the computer is shutdown, and thus the sync is left half complete. Is ODrive reliable enough to pick this up, and will it start the resync from the beginning again or resume where it left of?

Currently odrive will not resume an interrupted download. You would need to restart the download manually.
