Hi @mandyhart80,
My apologies for the trouble. Very recently Amazon has been responding back with these rate limit errors. I am trying to get in touch with them to see what is going on (I posted about it here last night: Amazon Drive/Photos Rate Limiting).
When you empty the trash, odrive will send the delete commands to Amazon. In this case they are responding with a rate limit error. The same applies when trying to download a folder. Can you try accessing the data you need from the Amazon web client? https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive
You mentioned unsyncing and trash above and I want to make sure you are not deleting items to unsync them. When you unsync, the items should not appear in the trash. Instead, the unsync action will turn your “real” files and folders back into placeholder files. I just want to make sure that you are taking the appropriate actions for unsync.
